Innovation in Philanthropy Awards 2022

The St. Louis Business Journal named Decipher Investigative Intelligence, Secure Community Network and the University of Missouri-St. Louis among its 2022 Innovation in Philanthropy winners.

The awards honor St. Louis-area partnerships for going above and beyond standard philanthropic practices in new and creative ways. It runs alongside the publication’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards program, which celebrates local companies that are making a philanthropic impact.

Decipher was recognized for its partnerships with Secure Community Network and the Geospatial Collaborative at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The relationships resulted in the establishment of a paid internship program at Decipher, launching in 2022 with three UMSL undergraduate students who began working on pre-hire screening projects for Secure Community Network, helping them avoid major hiring missteps.
